These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Doomrank. Doomrank was called Cooked, and some versions of the app still show that name. These terms cover the Doomrank app for iPhone and Android, under either name, and this website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Accepting these terms
By downloading, opening or using Doomrank, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Doomrank.
2. Who runs Doomrank
Doomrank is run by an independent developer, called "we" or "us" in these terms.

3. Who can use Doomrank
You must be at least 13 years old to use Doomrank. If you are under 18, or under the age of legal adulthood where you live, you may use Doomrank only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you. You may not use Doomrank where the law does not allow you to.
4. What Doomrank does
With your permission, Doomrank reads your total daily screen time on your phone, uploads one total for each finished day, and ranks you against other people by average daily screen time. On every board, rank 1 has the most screen time.
Screen-time figures come from your phone's own systems and are rounded down to 15 minutes, so they may not match other tools exactly. Doomrank is for information and entertainment. It is not medical, health or other professional advice.
We may change, add or remove features, boards or periods at any time.
5. Your account
Doomrank creates an account for you the first time you open the app. You can link Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In to use your account on another phone. A phone number you verify is used for contact matching, so friends can find you. It does not let you sign in on another phone. If you have not linked Apple or Google, you may not be able to get your account back on a new phone.
You are responsible for activity on your account, and for keeping your phone and your sign-in methods secure.
6. Your username
Your username is shown to other people on the boards and in friends lists, so you are responsible for it. You allow us to show your username, generated avatar, rank and country flag to other users, as described in our Privacy Policy, for as long as your account exists. We may reset a username at any time if it breaks these terms.
7. Acceptable use and objectionable content
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content means any username, content or behaviour on Doomrank that:
- Harasses, bullies, intimidates or shames anyone, including about their screen time or rank.
- Is hateful: it attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, disability, serious illness, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
- Is sexual or sexually suggestive, or exploits or endangers children in any way.
- Threatens or encourages violence, self-harm or harm to anyone.
- Impersonates another person, a brand, an organisation or Doomrank.
- Is illegal, or promotes illegal activity or illegal goods.
- Is an offensive username, for example one that contains slurs, swear words, insults, or references to sex, drugs or violence.
- Is spam or advertising, or shares someone's private information, such as a real name, phone number or address, without permission.
You must also not use Doomrank to stalk, monitor or pressure anyone, try to find out another person's screen time or other private information, or use bots, scripts or other automated tools with it.
8. Reporting and blocking
You can report or block another user wherever their name appears in the app: tap the (more) button next to the name, or press and hold their row. Reports are private. The person you report is not told who reported them.
Blocking takes effect immediately. Any follow between you is removed in both directions, the blocked person can no longer follow you, and you stop seeing them on your boards and lists. They are not told. They may still see your rank and username on public boards, such as Global and Local. You can unblock people in Settings, under Safety.
We review reports promptly and may remove content or ban accounts. Reports are reviewed by a person. If a report is upheld, or we find a breach of these terms in another way, we may reset a username, remove an account from the boards, or suspend or delete the account. We may act with or without a report.
9. Screen-time data and fair play
The boards only work if the numbers are real. You must not:
- fake, alter or tamper with screen-time data, or the way the app reads or sends it;
- modify, copy, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with, overload or try to get unauthorised access to Doomrank or its servers;
- use more than one account, or someone else's account, to affect the boards;
- take advantage of bugs. If you find one, please tell us at support@doomrank.app.
We may remove scores, or suspend or delete accounts, if we believe data is not genuine.
10. Doomrank Pro and purchases
Doomrank Pro is an optional paid upgrade. It may not be available in every version of the app yet. Where it is available, it adds history (stepping back to earlier periods on the boards) and the age-group filter (for people 18 and over). The Global, Local and Friends boards, adding friends and your own stats are available without it.
If you buy Doomrank Pro:
- Billing. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed by Apple or Google to your store account when you confirm the purchase. Prices, and any free trial, are shown in the app before you buy.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current period (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before). Your store account is charged for the renewal at, or within 24 hours before, the end of the period.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before it ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before).
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Doomrank account does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime. If a lifetime purchase is offered, it is a one-time payment and does not renew.
- Refunds. Cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- Restoring. On a new phone, use Restore purchase in the app while signed in to the store account you bought with.
Nothing in these terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
11. Our rights in Doomrank
Doomrank, including its name, design, artwork and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use, under these terms. We can end this licence if you break these terms.
12. Other companies' services
Doomrank relies on services from other companies, such as Apple, Google, Firebase, Upstash, RevenueCat and DiceBear. Your use of the App Store, Google Play, Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In is also covered by those companies' own terms. If you downloaded Doomrank from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
13. Disclaimers
Doomrank is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, always available or free of errors. Screen-time figures, scores and ranks may contain mistakes.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Doomrank. Our total liability to you for any claim about Doomrank is limited to the amount you paid for Doomrank Pro in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Doomrank and delete your account at any time. See Delete your account.
We may suspend or delete your account, or remove content, if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users. If we stop running Doomrank, we will try to give reasonable notice on this website. Sections 11, 13, 14 and 17 continue to apply after your account ends.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change, we will make that clear on this website. If you keep using Doomrank after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. This version replaces the terms dated September 2026.
17. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Doomrank.
